Thanks, did the trick. I got a used Saab 9-3 and it had a burned disk that it had trouble reading at times. Ripped to a new one and reads much better. Write speed has an effect. i made a coaster at faster speed. 1.0x (or slowest default) burn speed worked.

Well, I ordered today...I had another brand and it eventaully wore out. The $20 off worked, but was pretty much negated by what I think is an outrageous $9.95 shipping/processing charge. Also, the fine print at the bottom still says they could charge $59.95 additional after 30 days. My verdict is OUT OUT OUT until I hear otherwise. I used AMEX so if this is a scam, you guys are the burned ones, not me.

Somehow this was the top result for one of my Google searches for this problem, I'm also suspecting that the root cause is something related to IPv6 and DNS.

Or to be more specific, doing requests for the AAAA record of the client works just fine both over IPv4 and IPv6 so I suspect it's more a matter of the sshd being stupid in some way...

Dear Steve,
thanks a lot for the HowTo. At the moment I can not really guess the efficiency of APC, but installation instruction works great!
Thank you!
Best regards

Many thanks for the tool pointers and instructions - you rock, Memorex DVD+R DL apear to have been the rights ones for Infiniti - Keep an eye on the DVD NAV System eject, this is the second one I have had to open (a 2003 and 2004) to help it eject the DVD, pain to figure out why it does not eject - may be a good idea to eject the disk every few months to keep things working, however I did not see any dried grease etc... just kept pushing on things to get the disk out, but had same drive but different mechanisms that I had to push while it tried to eject, be patient and gentle.

FYI latest version of imgburn has different UI, I just picked the top left icon to create a DVD with all the defaults it installed other than selecting the correct source image folder and that allowed the backup to be made, system booted and recognized the backup disk, it did do a reboot that was odd, but think that has to do with having pulled the power on the nav unit to get the disk to eject.

Mr Jenkins, I read your artical with great interest. I am an owner of a security company in Provo UT. and reacted the same as mr Cats, not as offended but concerned about losing a customer to a cut-rate outfit. Mountain West is a competitor of mine and love to acquire their customers whenever posible. But they are a legitimate company and provide a real service for what they charge. It has been my expieriance that most of these cut-rate services dont last long because of law-suits for poor service and selling or changing their name to keep in operation. I have tried to provide service at the lowest rates possible and have found that no one can provide ligitimate service for less then $25.00 a month and be legal. I would check and see if your cut-rate company is licensed and insured in Utah.and if they provide all the features your alarm is capable of. If not and you need to return to real security, remember that your old company may still be overcharging for the lack of service they provide you'll find that at my rate of $26.00 a month is the best value of any company becaus we provide real personalized service and allow your alarm to it what it is capable of. comparison shop like you would any other product and you'll come back to a real security company.

Thanks for a very objective review. I have used this product now for about 1.5 years and am just getting ready to order a second one (the first one finally wore out and developed a hairline split in it which pinches my tongue at night).
Like you, I got the "suggestion" to try it from my wife and like you, didn't upgrade the shipping but still received the product in a very short time. I have noticed that over time my device became slightly less effective and am attributing that to the possibility that it got somewhat less "firm" in the pushing forward of the lower jaw over time.
Looking forward to getting a new one to see if it feels any different and oh yes, I have sleep apnea, snore like a chainsaw (althought I don't think I snore at all because I have never heard it), and have even woken up my kids because it was so bad at times.
The product works well.
