I’ll walk you through installing a Short Reset Trigger Kit (SRT) in a Sig Sauer P220, and show the “before and after” difference using a P226 with the SRT kit already installed.
However, at 17:24, I promised to “come back later” and discuss the sear pin re-assembly position… and forgot. The pin should be centered in the frame so that it’s slightly recessed and not quite flush on BOTH sides of the frame (the pin is slightly shorter than the width of the frame). If you push in the sear pin too far from either side, you’ll notice right away when you re-install the slide because the slide will hit the pin because it’s sticking out a bit too far.
